Please note that the dimensions provided are approximate and may vary slightly between hammock individual makes. It's important to consider the size of your cage and the preferences of your rats when selecting the appropriate hammock size. Shipping and processing times

As all the products here at Lovely Little Lorikeet are made to order, I advise a 2 week turnaround for creation plus shipping times (dependant on Australia Post and shipping method selected). Once your products have been shipped you will be notified with tracking details.

All our shipping is handled by Australia Post with estimated shipping times below.

Regular Parcel Post - 2-8 working days.

Express Parcel Post - 1-4 working days.

How do I know which size to choose?

Children's clothing - Each product has it's own size guide, please measure your child and compare against the size guide. Please DO NOT use your child's commercial sizing as this is often quite different. If your child doesn't fit into any of the sizes given please contact me as I can usually customise the sizing to your child (e.g. tall and slender child).

Pocket pet accessories - please see the size guide for each product which will show the dimensions of each piece. In general, small sizes are suited to mice and small rats, medium to most rats and large to large male rats, guinea pigs and small rabbits.

Are your pocket pet products safe to use?

All our pocket pet products are created with safety in mind. Our hammocks are usually made with a cotton layer and a fleece layer or a double fleece model. Our enrichment toys are made with a pet safe PETG plastic.

Some pets are more likely to chew hammocks than others, this is very individual to each pet. Once chewed cotton can post a hazard due to the way it is woven - it will leave strands, which may cause entrapment if left unchecked. Always monitor your pets usage of the hammocks and if it is showing signs of unravelling and destruction it is time for a new hammock. If you would like an alternative for big chewers I recommend the double fleece hammocks, as fleece doesn't unravel like woven cotton does, although this does not avoid the need for monitoring.

Hammocks are also absorbent, which means they will soak up urine. Pocket pets have very sensitive respiratory systems and as such hammocks will need to be washed regularly. See care instructions for each product for more details.

We like to have a few hammocks on rotation, so they can be washed regularly and discarded when too damaged.

How do I wash my products?

Each product will have different care instructions. Please see the care instructions for each product in the description.

What is your returns policy?

Although we carefully inspect each item before it is posted, if you find any fault, missing or incorrect items upon delivery please contact us for help. For faulty and some incorrect items we request the item be returned. Once the faulty/incorrect item is received a full refund will be issued including postage.

Unfortunately we cannot accept change of mind returns.
